READ THEIR STORY

Amber had only ever been to one wedding when she was three so she came to us for some Smart Start guidance to get their wedding planning off to the best start.

After getting engaged in the Lake District, they originally considered a DIY village hall wedding but instead chose a Manor House venue to avoid the additional stress and worry that comes with doing everything yourself.

They were married in St. Leonard’s Church in the idyllic village of Swithland after which they hosted a pretty countryside reception for their family and friends.

The couple didn’t want a traditional wedding cake so we came up with several alternative suggestions for them. They decided on a chocolate brownie tower with figs and berries, served with fresh cream, made by the Nook Corner Coffee Shop in Anstey.

Amber chose pretty sage green dresses for her bridesmaids while Zeke and his groomsmen wore cream suits from Scotney’s of London Road. (Quick Tip: mention EJ or Fizzydo to Ian at Scotney’s and save 10% on suit hire or buy!)

The couple honeymooned at a 5 star resort in the Greek Isles, a surprise from Zeke for his new wife.
