We’ll talk through your ideas, set a budget that doesn’t scare you to death, and align your vision with realistic solutions.

The first decisions define your budget.
The very first things you book - the venue, the date, the catering - often set your spending in stone before you’ve even seen the full picture. It’s easy to get tied down to a plan that doesn't actually work, leading to unexpected costs that only surface once you're already committed.
A Smart Start stops the "budget creep" before it begins. I’ll help you look at the real numbers early on, uncovering the hidden extras and the "wedding tax" that often get missed. We make sure your first steps are the right ones, so you aren't left trying to fix an overstretched budget six months down the line.
Price for a Smart Start | £180
After an initial call to identify the areas where you want some advice, we’ll arrange a focused, face-to-face conversation together lasting up to 2 hours to dive deep into your wedding ideas and get your wedding planning off to the best start. We’ll cover:
Your Budget: A realistic transparent chat about money, your budget, what you can expect things to cost, and what you do, and more importantly, DON’T want to spend.
The "Reality Check": Matching your vision to a realistic budget for your venue and services.
Priority Planning: We’ll identify what really matters to you both so you can cut the rest. Plan with intention not distraction.
The Roadmap: You’ll get a clear idea of what your budget can really get you, where the hidden costs lie, and an action plan on how to stick to your budget and plan accordingly.
The Safety Net: A follow-up call to check how you’re getting on, and any new questions you may have..
The Smart Start includes a maximum of 3 hours planning support and can save you £100s - if not £1,000s - in overspend and hidden costs. Extra hours can be booked at £60 per hour or ask about bundles or more in-depth services including On The Day Coordination, Supplier Sourcing and Venue Scouting.
.(First 20 miles (round trip) are included with 45p per mile thereafter or book a Zoom Option if you’re further afield).
I do not accept commissions from suppliers or venues and pass any savings back to you.
