Live Events and Attendee Data
When you register for our live events (such as wedding fairs), we process your personal data under two distinct legal bases:
Legitimate Interest – we have to collect or use the information for our legitimate interests, which do not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to erasure and the right to data portability.
Consent: We use your name and email for future marketing (newsletters, future offers, and promotional content) only if you actively provide explicit consent via an optional checkbox.
Photography and Filming at Events
We may collect images and video recordings at our events for promotional purposes. By attending the fair, you acknowledge and agree that an official photographer and event staff may be present and that footage may be used in future promotions. We rely on Legitimate Interest to document and promote our fairs. If you do not wish to be included in general footage, please notify a member of the event staff or the photographer on the day.
Sharing Data with Event Venues and Suppliers
We offer attendees the option to request a brochure or pricing information directly from the event venue.
If you voluntarily select 'Yes' to the venue brochure request on our ticketing form, we will share your Name and Email Address solely for the purpose of the venue sending you the requested information.
We do not control the venue's subsequent use of your data. Once we share your data with the venue, it is governed by their own Privacy Policy.
Direct Contact Requests to Suppliers and Vendors
If you choose to use the forms located on our supplier or venue pages (e.g., for date checks, brochures, or quotes), you are directly consenting to us sharing the personal data you provide (such as your name and email) with that specific venue or supplier.
This data is shared solely to fulfil your request. Once transferred, the vendor/supplier is the controller of your data, and its subsequent use will be governed by their own privacy policy.
