Summer Garden Party Networking Event at The Woodlands, Hothorpe, Leicestershire
A lovely, if very hot, evening was well spent at The Woodlands Hothorpe Business Garden Party last night.
It was lovely to meet the Hothorpe team, namely Andrew Nightingale (GM), Kim Marshall & Ollie Merry (Sales & Events), and Social Media Manager Kristen Woolley.
Pizza, Spritzes & Refreshing Mocktails
Delicious pizza and drinks were served. I chose the Woodlands Mocktail, a refreshing raspberry non-alco. Brian indulged in an Aperol Spritz and the Hugo Spritz. We topped these off with a selection of freshly made pizza slices.
Brian wore the fun sunglasses with his name on. He’s very particular when it comes to his Ray Bans and Persols so I never thought I’d witness him sporting a green pair of sunnies with ‘Brian’ written on the lens. I think he was channeling the 1970’s Hollywood producer vibe.
I’d visited The Woodlands twice before but Brian had never been so we took a stroll around the modern event space. It was fabulous to be hit by a wall of cool air-con as we stepped inside.
New Connections
The evening drew to a close with an unexpected meet-up in the car park! It was great to meet Charlie Sylvanus-Jones (By Design Estate Agents), and Amanda Bradfield (Top Gear Consulting). An impromptu car park chat is always good!
To my corporate event network, if you’re looking for a corporate space, be that for a party, conference or private do, then a viewing here wouldn’t go amiss.
The Woodlands at Hothorpe is rather special.
