Business Membership Terms & Conditions

This agreement is between Buckinghams Media (trading as “Fizzydo”) and the Member.

Registered Address: Ground Floor, Millers House, Roman Way, Market Harborough, Leics LE16 7PQ.

1. Membership Eligibility & Vetting

To maintain the professional integrity of the Fizzydo directory, all Members confirm that:

Tax & Legal Status: They are a legitimate trading entity registered for tax with HMRC.
Insurance: They hold valid Public Liability Insurance (PLI) appropriate for their services and will provide a copy for our records upon request.
Food & Drink: Suppliers in this category confirm they are registered with Environmental Health and hold a minimum Food Hygiene Rating of 5. Any drop in this rating must be reported to Fizzydo immediately.
Verification: Failure to maintain these standards or provide proof of credentials when requested may result in immediate suspension or removal of the listing.

Professional Integrity: Members agree to act with professionalism and honesty toward clients and fellow directory members.
Conflict of Interest: Members are prohibited from using Fizzydo-hosted events, fairs, or digital platforms to promote, solicit for, or divert business to third-party competitors.
Brand Reputation: We reserve the right to remove any Member whose conduct brings the Fizzydo brand into disrepute.

Rolling Membership: Membership operates on a monthly rolling basis. Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice.
Pricing: We reserve the right to increase membership fees at any time. Members will be given 30 days' notice of any changes.
Benefit Protection: If a Member utilises high-value exclusive benefits, specifically discounted fair stands, display advertising, or a print listing/feature, the membership is subject to a minimum 12-month term from the date that benefit is redeemed.
Clawback: If a Member cancels within 12 months of receiving such a benefit, Fizzydo reserves the right to invoice for the difference between the member rate and the standard public rate, or the full cost of a print listing/feature already committed to.

Account Security: Members are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account login and password. You are responsible for all activities and content uploaded under your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Accuracy & Standards: All content must be legal, decent, honest, and truthful (ASA standards).
Right to Edit: Fizzydo reserves the right to edit submitted content for clarity, SEO, or layout requirements without altering core meaning.
No Stock Imagery: Gallery images must be of the Member's own actual work. The use of stock imagery to represent a professional portfolio is strictly prohibited. General "vibe" stock images are permitted for aesthetic purposes only, provided they do not mislead.
Rights & Credits: You confirm you own the copyright or have permission for all images and agree to provide photographer credits.
Usage License: You grant Fizzydo a non-exclusive license to use submitted content in both digital and print formats (including website, social media, and physical publications).
Model Releases: It is your responsibility to ensure you have necessary consent/model releases from individuals featured in your images.
Indemnity: You agree to fully indemnify Buckinghams Media (Fizzydo) against any claims, losses, or legal costs arising from copyright infringement or lack of consent regarding submitted content.

Statutory Liability: Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
No Endorsement or Recommendation: Fizzydo acts as a directory only. Membership does not constitute an official recommendation or endorsement by Buckinghams Media. Members must not state or imply in any marketing that they are endorsed or guaranteed by Fizzydo.
No Guarantee of Results: We do not guarantee any specific level of reach, leads, bookings, or Return on Investment (ROI).
Service & Downtime: We are not liable for temporary website downtime, technical interruptions, or the cancellation of events due to factors beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).
External Links: We accept no liability for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites linked from our directory.
Third-Party Disputes: Fizzydo is not liable for disputes, financial losses, or damages arising between a Member and a client.
No Refunds: No refunds are issued for months already paid.

Data Protection: We process data in line with our Privacy Policy. Buckinghams Media is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO: ZA885130).
Variation: We may update these terms with 30 days' notice. Continued membership constitutes acceptance.
Severability: If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable or unfit, the rest remains in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior verbal promises or agreements.
Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
