Submit a Wedding or Shoot

We’re always on the lookout for stunning real weddings and styled shoots from around the East Midlands.

Sharing your real weddings and editorial shoots on Fizzydo is a fantastic opportunity to highlight your unique style, and celebrate the love stories and inspiration you've captured and created so beautifully.

Our readers love seeing authentic, heartfelt moments from Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincs, Northants, Rutland and the surrounding counties which include venues that are ‘viable options’ for East Mids couples e.g. Cambs, Staffordshire, Cotswolds, Bucks. We love a gorgeous destination wedding too.

Submission Guidelines

  • At least one of the creative team must be a member of our Little Black Book

  • The wedding or shoot took place within the last 18 months

  • The content has not been published elsewhere

  • You must supply written permission from the couple to submit their wedding or

  • Styled shoots must have the required signed model releases

  • Location - ideally in the East Midlands but we if the couple or shoot team are local we welcome unique inspiration from other areas in the UK and abroad.

If you’ve captured something special - whether it was a grand celebration or an intimate elopement - we’d love to see it.

HOW TO SEND YOUR CONTENT

FIRST STEP:

Send either:

a) a link to the gallery (preferred) or

b) no less than 25 of the best photos by Dropbox or WeTransfer.

c) submit the Submissions Form (see below)

We’ll contact you within 7 days to tell you if your submission has been successful.

IMAGE SPEC:

We require web optimised images:

  • RGB

  • 72dpi

  • Max. 250px

  • Landscape min. width 2500px

  • Images should be named with your business name and the location e.g. Venue Hall by Acme Photography - 4

  • If we require anything for print we will let you know the spec requirement.

WHAT WE DON’T ACCEPT:

Incorrectly sized images - We regret we do not have time to optimise or resize your images for you so images which do not comply will be rejected.

We do not publish tilted, fisheye, double exposure, spot colour or effects.

What happens if my submission is not accepted?

We are grateful for every submission but sadly we can’t feature them all. We may have just shared something similar or it’s simply not the right vibe for us. We’re always happy to give feedback.

We do not accept images sent as email attachments. These are deleted.

EXCLUSIVITY:

It takes many hours to put a feature together and it’s soul destroying to put in all that work only to see it somewhere else before we’ve had chance to press ‘publish’

If your submission is accepted you agree not to submit it to another website or magazine until at least 90 days after publication by us.

If the work has already been submitted to a third party but not yet green lit, you agree to inform them that there is an exclusivity agreement.
