Flowery Opportunity at Brooksby

Hello to my flower fairies!

As you may know, I’m organising a wedding fair at Brooksby Hall in Leicestershire (LE14 2LJ) on Sunday 23 March.

What you may not know is, positioned in the grounds, directly opposite the entrance to the house, is the old family church.

The church will be open on the day of the fair, manned by the Churchwardens to chat all things weddings and blessings.

They have kindly agreed, should anyone wish, we may decorate the doorway (and inside too if the mood takes you).

I’ve taken photos of the doorway. I noted at the apex there is a hook already in situ if that helps.

I’m not for one minute suggesting something as expensive as a full arch, but something simple and pretty to give brides some vision.
